Great Movie moments-Kevin Costner, J.F.K.
Costner owes a lot to Oliver Stone’s cutting and storytelling but he manages to sum up a mammoth-sized courtroom case with Stone’s own logic and emotion. Tremendous stuff.

Key moment: “Someday, somewhere, someone may find out the damn truth. We better. We better, or we might just as well build ourselves another government like the Declaration of Independence says to when the old one ain’t working — just a little farther out west.”

I’ve neglected this tumblr for too long. What better way to resurrect it though?

This is one of my favorite scenes of all time from one of my favorite films of all time. There are at least 20 scenes from this movie that I could post here but this is always going to be the best one. Great writing, acting, blocking, set decoration, and directing are all on display here. Sure, Oliver Stone has fallen off since the 90’s but even if he never makes a great film again, he’s left us with an amazing catalog of films.

I wish I fuckin’ shot that.
